My name is Dennis Schreiner, I am 24 years old and I study computer science at the University of Augsburg. I discovered my passion for programming early in my childhood. At that time I programmed trainers and bots for video games in Visual Basic. During my studies I gained experience with C and Java and got to know object-oriented programming. I especially enjoyed working on web applications, which is why I decided to specialize in full stack web development. Even though my skills are currently mainly in the front end, I try to learn something new and improve every day. What fascinates me about full stack development is that you can experience all facets of software engineering. You have to be able to empathize with the user to create intuitive UIs, but also need an understanding of databases and software architecture to build scalable and high-performance applications.

Well-structured HTML markup and responsive CSS Layouts with a special focus on UX and accessibility are essential for me.
Sass
Adds performance and elegance to CSS code and makes maintaining css a lot easier. It is fun!
Javascript
In order to write good code which is easy to understand and maintain (not just by its author!), I use the latest standards (ES6) and proven design principles (DRY, SOLID)
React
If I want to build a big, scalable and fast Web app with highly interactive user interfaces, React is the tool of my choice.
